Gin Rummy
Gin Rummy is a two-player card game where the goal is to form sets and sequences with the cards in your hand. Each player starts with 10 cards, while the rest form a draw pile. Players take turns picking up cards from the draw pile or the discard pile. The game ends when a player forms all possible melds and gets rid of ungrouped cards, known as deadwood. Sets must consist of at least three cards of the same rank (e.g., 5-5-5) or sequences of the same suit (e.g., 7-8-9 of diamonds). The round concludes when a player draws the final card and declares gin or knock.
How to play Gin Rummy?
Use your mouse to draw and discard cards. On mobile devices, the game supports touch controls. Players draw a card by clicking the draw pile or the face-up discard pile. To discard a card, drag it to the discard pile. The game ends when a player’s deadwood points are below 10, or when all cards are melded. The Pass button lets you skip drawing a face-up card if needed.
