Bridge
Bridge is a classic card game played by four people divided into two teams: the players sitting opposite each other form pairs. Teams aim to score as many points as possible by winning tricks in each round. The game uses a standard deck of 52 cards, with cards ranked from ace (highest) to two (lowest). The game ends when one team wins two games (also called rubbers). Each game consists of several hands, with each team trying to reach 100 points in a single hand to win that game.
How to Play Bridge?
Each player receives 13 cards, and the game proceeds clockwise. After the deal, bidding begins, where players declare the number of tricks (beyond six) their team aims to win and establish a trump suit. Players can raise previous bids by offering a higher number of tricks or a higher-ranking suit. The player with the highest bid wins the auction, and their team must fulfill the contract. The game involves playing cards from hand, with the objective of winning as many tricks as possible. The partner of the successful bidder lays their cards on the table (the "dummy"), and the declarer plays those cards. Each trick won scores points based on the trump suit, and the game continues until all cards are played.
